In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to bake some delicious treats – spooky sugar cookies and creepy cupcakes!
The cupcakes are mixed berry flavour with a maple buttercream frosting and a sprinkling of toblerone on top – very decadent and tasty. I used this gluten free cupcake recipe and this maple buttercream frosting recipe from Cupcake Jemma (the recipes are listed in the information box below each video) and decorated them with some adorable little pumpkins and ghosts.
I made the sugar cookies from this recipe (also gluten free) and decorated with some gooey icing.
They’re both simple recipes and were a lot of fun to make (and eat!). Hopefully this has inspired you to do some spooky Halloween baking too.
